Designing Business Impact Projects That Get Results

with Janice Miller & Lisa Buettner

Wednesday, NOVEMBER 14, 2018

mATHWORKS APPLE HILL CAMPUS
3 APPLE HILL DRIVE
NATICK, MA 01760

6:00pm–8:30pm

Leadership development initiatives are under intense scrutiny to demonstrate results. Programs that work receive funding; those that don’t are scrapped. Business impact projects – where cohorts of learners apply learning to a business-related issue – reinforce the knowledge, behavioral changes and shifts in mindset that a learning initiative seeks to develop. Perhaps more importantly, these projects show the strategic outcomes of the learning in a context that organizational stakeholders fully understand. Only 24% of organizations are doing impact measurement today, according to Harvard Business Publishing’s 2018 State of Leadership Development report. But this number will grow as organizations demand to see a direct connection between development and results. Join us at our November learning event where Harvard Business Publishing, our workshop leader, will be sharing best practices for designing business impact projects that get lasting results.

Janice Miller, Director of Leadership Programs and Lisa Buettner, Senior Program Manager will lead our discussion focusing on:

  • Best practices for designing application projects
  • How to measure what really counts in your organization
  • How to engage senior leadership and other stakeholders in the process
  • How to demonstrate impact to senior leadership

Attendees may park in the MathWorks visitor parking or in the garage (free parking) and dinner will be provided. We hope you can join us on November 14th!
