Learning Measurement SIG Presents:

Learning Evaluation As Decision Support: Measuring for Practical Advantage

with Will Thalheimer

June 14, 2024

2:00 PM to 3:15 PM

VIRTUAL WEBINAR - Link in registration email

LEADS (Learning Evaluation As Decision Support) is a new approach to learning evaluation—one that aims to help us be more effective in our work, specifically supporting us in making the most critical decisions we must make as learning professionals. In this session, renowned learning-evaluation innovator, Will Thalheimer (our neighbor in Somerville), will introduce us to LEADS and provide practical solutions for our learning-evaluation goals. The session will briefly cover Performance-Focused Learner Surveys and LTEM (the Learning-Transfer Evaluation Model) and then delve into LEADS, describing its rationale, its 14 areas of decision-focus, and how to use it. Session participants will receive two chapters from Will’s new book, The CEO’s Guide to Training, eLearning & Work: Empowering Learning for a Competitive Advantage—chapters that describe LEADS and its rationale in more depth. Participants will also have the option of being included in a drawing to win one of Will’s books. For those hoping to up their game in learning evaluation, this session is not to be missed!
